Details:Summary:  With 600+ retail locations across the country, Extra Space Storage has created a Divisional Marketing Manager position. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and executing all marketing activities for a division (approximately 100 retail locations with a primary objective of driving additional incremental rentals).  The Divisional Marketing Manager will work closely with Corporate Marketing and the Divisional Operation team to determine the best mix of marketing programs to execute for 100 retail locations. This individual will also work very closely with the Store Managers to train and execute local marketing programs. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for reporting back on the predetermined results metrics. Typically accomplishes results through leadership and middle-level managers in programs, direct reports in business development, field agents supporting business development efforts, engineering and operational organization. Involves coordination of multiple Aerojet sites.Responsible for the successful operation of marketing activities of major significance to the organization. Responsibilities include: Assembles and forms capture teams. Determines organization marketing objectives, interprets Aerojet Policy and delegates assignments to subordinate managers.Defines discretionary spending plans and manages discretionary projects.Obtains internal consensus for strategy and captures. Advises Aerojet on industry trends market studies and economic conditions related to product development and research in concurrence with marketing objectives.Represents the organization as prime internal and customer contact on marketing operations. Conducts briefings for top management and customer representatives. Interacts with intra-organizational managers concerning matters of significance to Aerojet. Fosters ethical conduct, practices, and personal integrity throughout Aerojet to ensure Aerojet's ability to attract and retain customers in a highly competitive environment.Identify new markets and develop strategies to penetrate them. Develop strategies to address Aerojet's competitiveness.This position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least fourteen (14) years directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Demonstrated managerial level leadership skills required. Familiarity with Strategic Propulsion systems highly desirable. Past experience with Air Force and Navy Weapon Systems also highly desirable.Requires travel within the U.S. approximately 20% of the time and demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively while traveling.
